Saddlehill - Mural

Saddlehill - Mural

Bill Green, owner of Saddlehill Cellars located in Voorhees, NJ, reached out to us at Reality Upgrade, about a mural for his farm. We got together and discussed the amazing history of Saddlehill, previously known as Stafford Farm. You can find out about the history of Saddlehill on Saddlehill's website - SaddleHill.com - and how it once belonged to George Washington, how measures have been taken to preserve the land forever, and how Bill and his wife Amy have now also turned it into a vineyard and winery.

Bill shared with us his vision for the mural. He mentioned his love for the tulips and wildflowers on his farm, as well as the horses. Bill is also our neighbor at the Jersey Shore and active in his community. We even share some mutual friends... this match up was meant to be!

We had such a blast working on the farm. We met some truly amazing people! Farmer Tom introduced us to The Potato Homestead, where our 2022 donations were put to good use.

A special thank you to the whole Saddlehill farm team. You are all so kind and it was a pleasure working beside you. We are excited to see you open your doors to the public as you really are bringing such an amazing addition to the South Jersey area.

p.s the animals are incredible! We got to meet and feed the horses :) The alpacas were so funny, always staring at us on our way over to the shed. And you know how we mentioned George Washington once owned the land?  The first day we showed up to take pictures, we saw two eagles grazing in the fields! Luck was on our side, and clearly Saddlehill's. We are so grateful for the opportunity.
